Common does not force a bundled chatbot. Connect AI issues a time-boxed credential and a structured context pack you can paste into the tools you already pay for.
What you get
- Hours-not-weeks keys — default TTL is short; adjustable in Settings.
- common-conn credentials — opaque paste format, not a raw Bearer dump in the UI.
- Scoped household writes — ledger, planning, benefits, taxes, insights when you allow them.
- Durable keys — for automations, under Integrations with custom scopes.
What we will not claim
Revoking a key stops future access. It cannot erase copies an assistant already stored. Bank credentials stay with Common and providers — external tools receive authorized data only.
